Soundstorm 2025, from December 11 to 13 in Riyadh: over 200 artists including Calvin Harris, DJ Snake, and Post Malone. The Middle East confirms itself as the new epicenter of electronic music
From Thursday, December 11 to Saturday, December 13, 2025, in the Banban desert just outside Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, Soundstorm returns — the MDLBEAST-produced festival that, year after year, has established itself as the most impressive event in the Middle East and one of the most ambitious in the world.
With over 200 artists on the bill, Soundstorm 2025 confirms Saudi Arabia’s determination to become a key player in contemporary culture and — in particular — on the global electronic music scene.
The latest wave of announced acts includes Don Toliver, the Houston-born hip-hop and R&B star; Salvatore Ganacci, the eccentric DJ and performer known for his unconventional shows; and Sebastian Ingrosso, a core member of Swedish House Mafia and a defining figure in global dance music. They join an already stellar lineup featuring DJ Snake, Metro Boomin, Post Malone, Halsey, Pitbull, Benson Boone, Cardi B, Young Thug, and Calvin Harris — a roster that seamlessly blends pop, hip-hop, and the many shades of contemporary electronic sound.

But Soundstorm is more than just a festival of names: it is a cultural project that mirrors the evolution of the Middle East as the new frontier for large-scale live events. In recent years, Saudi Arabia has drawn international attention from both artists and audiences through a clear vision — combining technological innovation, spectacular production, and cultural openness.
The festival site, completely redesigned for 2025, introduces a new division into four thematic districts inspired by the cardinal points, along with a reimagined Downtown area serving as the beating heart of the experience.
With 14 stages and avant-garde scenography, Soundstorm aims to transform the Riyadh desert into a true city of sound. From the main stage, hosting electronic heavyweights such as Sebastian Ingrosso, Calvin Harris, DJ Snake, and Swedish House Mafia, to areas dedicated to emerging talents, every space is conceived as part of a unique sonic journey.
In a global context where electronic music continues to evolve and expand its boundaries, the Middle East is asserting itself as a central player — capable of attracting talent, investment, and an international audience eager to explore new horizons.
