From 18 to 21 June 2026, Barcelona becomes the global epicentre of electronic music, creativity and innovation. At the centre of this transformation stands Sónar - the original city-based electronic music festival - driving an ever-expanding constellation of events, collaborations and gatherings that together form Sónar Week. In 2026, the programme expands further, activating locations from Poble Espanyol and Parc del Fòrum to L’Hospitalet and the historic city centre. The week includes the main Sónar festival, the open-air OFFSónar series, the innovation congress Sónar+D, the new Sónar District, and the family programme Sónar Kids.
Sónar 2026 at Fira Gran Via
The core of Sónar Week is Sónar 2026, held at Fira Gran Via in L’Hospitalet. For the first time, the traditional Day and Night programmes are unified in a single venue, with continuous music from 17:00 until late at night, extending into the morning on Friday and Saturday.Across six stages, the festival will host more than 100 performances, presenting a broad overview of contemporary electronic music. The lineup includes major artists such as The Prodigy, Kelis, Skepta, Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, Dom Dolla, Modeselektor, Cabaret Voltaire, SBTRKT, FJAAK & Kittin (Live) and Speedy J presents STOOR, alongside influential club figures including Goldie b2b Doc Scott, Nia Archives, Joy Orbison, KETTAMA, Sammy Virji and Boys Noize.
OFFSónar at Poble Espanyol
OFFSónar returns to the open-air venue of Poble Espanyol, hosting four days of events curated by major artists, labels and collectives from the global club scene. Confirmed showcases include Rampa & Adam Port (Keinemusik), Adriatique Present X, Baddest Behaviour by Mau P, Lone Romantic by Maceo Plex, FUSELondon, Mochakk Calling, and elrow, which will close the programme. These events highlight different strands of electronic music, from melodic house and techno to underground minimal sounds. The lineup for Lone Romantic by Maceo Plex already features Maceo Plex, Âme Live feat. Jeanne L, Radio Slave, Anthony Rother and Mack Loenz, while other lineups will be announced soon.

Sónar+D: Creativity and Technology
The Sónar+D congress, dedicated to innovation and digital culture, moves in 2026 to Llotja de Mar in central Barcelona. Held on 18–19 June, the event combines talks, exhibitions, performances and networking, bringing together artists, scientists, designers and technologists. Known as a “conference that thinks like a festival,” Sónar+D encourages collaboration across disciplines. In addition to its city-centre programme, it will also present digital art installations within the main Sónar festival site.
Sónar District at Parc del Fòrum
A new initiative for 2026, Sónar District expands the festival to Parc del Fòrum on Barcelona’s coastline. Over two days it will host large-scale events representing different currents in modern dance music. Highlights include Solid Grooves, the influential UK house brand founded by Michael Bibi and PAWSA, and Metamorfosi by Joseph Capriati, featuring artists such as Joseph Capriati b2b Jamie Jones. The programme also includes You&Me by Josh Baker, focused on contemporary house and minimal sounds.
Sónar Kids
On 20 June, Sónar District will also host Sónar Kids, a family-friendly programme designed for children and adults. Through workshops, performances and interactive activities, it encourages young audiences to explore music and creativity in a safe and playful environment.
A Citywide Festival
Sónar Week 2026 will feature over 180 artists across 18 stages, welcoming around 172,000 visitors from around the world. Alongside the concerts, Sónar+D will present more than 30 talks, workshops and performances. Together, these events transform Barcelona into a citywide celebration of electronic music, culture and innovation, reinforcing Sónar’s status as one of the world’s most influential festivals.
